"Suffer and Work"
To carry the yoke that fate has placed upon your shoulders is an act of faith. Faith in the justice governing the facets of the yoke. Faith in the truth that the burden is yours.
There, suffering the weight is a step towards being what you aught to be. Like the boxer who endure that endless training. Like the artist that rehearses again and again. There, suffering is facing is facing the truth that all things have a cost in the world. There, suffering is acknowledging justice as it demands the price.
But what if the yoke was someone else’s? Either taken by you or forced upon you? Can you carry it and say “justice is done”? Will you toil on and claim knowing the truth?
Anything is possible, I guess.
